The Rainbow Trout was meticulously bead-woven by hand, using wee little glass seed beads in a beautiful rainbow palette.
The varied lusters (aurora borealis, satin, pearl) play with the light as he swims.
A super flashy, faceted Labradorite drips from his tail, making it look as if he has just leapt from the water.
He is "caught" with a sterling silver fishhook clasp.
For the necklace I took my inspiration from the beautiful Esopus creek which meanders through the Catskill Mountains. Streams of blue, green and silvery-gray ebb & flow in lovely waves, capped off hither & yon with luminous charcoal Freshwater Pearls.
All elements have been lovingly and meticulously hand beaded, woven & stitched for ultimate beauty, strength and longevity!
